INFORMATION
La Bitta Hotel, recently refurbished, is a 3-star structure located in Marina di Pietrasanta, only 100 meters away from the seaside and 50 meters from a pinewood.
Thanks to its fortunate position, the Hotel offers a beautiful view both of the sea and of the Alpi Apuane a chain of mountains that seem to be covered with snow even during summer thanks to the white marble they are composed of.
La Bitta is a family run Hotel and provides totally relaxing holidays, also thanks to its quiet location, hospitality and excellent cuisine that is directly managed by the owners, as well as all the details of the structure.
La ‘Bitta’ Hotel is especially selected by families with children for its playground and personalized children menus.
The Hotel not only offers free bicycle rental but also roof solarium, garden and free private parking.
The comfortable and welcoming rooms are provided with telephone, air-conditioning, safe, hair-drier, flat-screen SAT TV and free Wi-Fi. Furthermore, most rooms are provided with balcony.
As mentioned, the Hotel is located close to the seaside and to century-old pine woods. Of special interest is "La Versiliana", a natural park hosting, in summer, interesting cultural and current affair debates.
BIKE RENTAL REGULATION
Free rental: bikes are given as a complimentary service according to availability. They must be returned every time guests come back to the hotel. Failure to return the keys results in the room charge of 10,00 euros per bike, per day.
Users: people who are 18 years old, or older, can use the bikes. Minors must be accompanied by someone who takes responsibility.
Responsability: The user is held responsible for any damage caused to himself and to the bike. In this event, the customer may not claim any compensation. The hotel is not responsible for an improper handling of the vehicle or non compliance with traffic regulations.
Damage: the bike must be returned in the same good conditions as it was delivered. Any damage will result in a claim of compensation. Alternatively, the user can have the vehicle repaired at his own expense. In the event of irreparable damage, the user will be charged 200,00 euros as compensation.
Theft: In case of bicycle theft, the user must present a copy of the report of theft submitted to the local police and pay the sum of 200,00 euros that will be returned in case of recovery of the vehicle.
Requirements: The user commits himself to look after the vehicle, to lock it every time he leaves the bike unattended, to comply with traffic regulations and to signal any possible damage suffered.
Rental rejection: Hotel la Bitta may exercise the power of rejecting the use of the bike to drunk people, to those who are under the influence of mind altering substances ( italian traffic regulations: articles 186-187) or because of other specific reasons, at its sole discretion.
Terms: It is assumed that people who rent the bikes acknowledge and accept the regulation clearly visible on the reception desk. The hotel is, therefore, free from any responsibility.
According to the local traffic regulations ( art.2054 , Codice Civile), bycicles are considered to be vehicles; therefore, any infringement due to their circulation is judged the same way as for the cars’ ones.
